The first thing I remember is going out shopping in some distant part of the city. I got some food and stuff as well as cough medicine.
It was sort of a dark day that was cloudy and foggy, as it has been irl lately, and I think it rained as well.
Later on I ate Chinese takeout while discussing it and various other foods with my family. I recall that the structure of the house had changed and seemed to vary depending on time and place, in a sort of non-euclidean manner. I think there was some big room that was connected with a hallway behind it and some kind of basement beneath. The basement was well-lit and decorated, having a cozy kind of vibe to it. I also had the sense that one of the rooms contained something dangerous, like possibly a hostile animal, but I don't recall what it was exactly. I'm not sure I knew even at the time.
Papa's room seemed to be bigger and cleaner, having sort of a traditional vibe with more wood paneling and adorned corners. I also think the hallway was longer and rooms seemed more spacious and cleaner in general. The kitchen may have even been fixed.
Some other details were off which I either can't remember or don't seem very notable. At some point I was introduced to a selection of Pokemon, which included Graveler, Rhyhorn, I think Vaporeon and/or some other water-type (Starmie?) and a few others.
Shortly after I stepped outside to find that the rain coming down had increased to biblical proportions and the neighborhood started flooding. The water came up to our house, and filled the living room, leaving only the upstairs still habitable. The Graveler and Rhyhorn were greatly weakened, as they are rock/ground-types with low special defense. We and some of the neighbors started gathering supplies and saving whatever valuable belongings we could to try and weather the storm. This took a while.
For some reason, afterwards, I was tasked with going into people's homes to try and save them and help recover their belongings. I remember being very upset about this, thinking things like "Why me? How am I qualified to do this?" I still complied, however. I entered a neighbor's house (the one two houses away from ours, which looked notably inaccurate to real life), though I can't remember much after that.
